Now in their 17th year, the British Parking Awards recognize the industry’s leading examples of car park management, enforcement, design and team work. IPS was recently named a finalist in the Parking Innovation Award category for its groundbreaking Revolution™ Upgrade Kit which upgrades existing parking terminals with state-of-the-art Smart Parking technology. The multi-patented kit consists of components that replace the original manufacturer’s hardware and are fully supported by IPS going forward. The kit utilize the existing cabinet which eliminates the cost, time and resources required to remove old terminals and install new equipment. The terminals utilize the latest roaming cellular technology optimized for the parking application – which decreases processing times from minutes to seconds – and feature contactless acceptance as standard.
